Impact of edaphoclimatic conditions and crop season on olive oil's fatty acids

The olive tree (Olea europaea L.) fruit oil attracts widespread interest because of its high content monounsaturated fatty acids. However, a neglected area in the field is edaphoclimatic factors impact, which poorly understood. Bearing this mind, purpose investigation was to evaluate impact conditions on acids’ composition. Therefore, we have investigated acids methyl ester (FAME) profile 38 monovarietal Moroccan ‘Picholine Marocaine’ extra-virgin oils (EVOOs) from two successive crop years (2018–2019 and 2019–2020). Significant differences were detected distinct geographical origins with about 10 4% difference oleic palmitic acid amounts both seasons; however, linoleic showed 5 8% 2018–2019 2019–2020 oils, respectively. Furthermore, regions altitude low temperature resulted rich (MUFAs). This study also revealed negative rainfall, sand percentage, nitrogen saturated (SFAs) pH conductivity major MUFAs.
